By using this site or working with us, you’re agreeing to the following. It’s short on purpose.
Who we are
Startwise, Inc. (“Startwise” for short) is an AI training, enablement, and software company. In here, “we,” “us,” and “Startwise” mean the company; “you” means whoever is using our site or working with us.
Using this site
Browse it, read it, share it — that's what it's for. Just don't use it to break the law, harm anyone, scrape it at scale, or interfere with how it runs. That's about the whole list.
Our work together
Anything we actually build or deliver for you is covered by a separate written agreement — a proposal, statement of work, or contract. If that signed agreement and these terms ever disagree, the signed agreement wins.
Who owns what
You own your data and the deliverables we hand off to you, as spelled out in your agreement. We keep the rights to our own pre-existing tools and methods. The content on this site — text, design, logos — belongs to us, so please don't copy it wholesale.
Pricing
The prices on this site are there to help you plan — they're estimates, not a binding quote. Your actual fees, scope, and timeline live in your specific agreement.
No magic guarantees
We're good at what we do, but AI is probabilistic and every team is different. We provide this site and our work “as is,” and we can't promise a specific business result or that the site will be perfect and available every second.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Startwise isn't liable for indirect or knock-on damages, and our total liability connected to this site is capped at what you've paid us (if anything) in the prior 12 months.
Links to other places
We sometimes link out to other tools and sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what they do — their terms are their own.
Ending things
You can stop using the site whenever you like. We may suspend access if someone misuses it. Active engagements end according to the terms of their own agreement.
Changes to these terms
We'll update these from time to time. The “last updated” date above tells you when. If you keep using the site after a change, that counts as your acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Privacy & Data
We collect as little as we can, we never sell your data, and we’ll always tell you what we do with what we have.
What we collect
Two things: (1) what you give us — your name, email, company, and whatever you type into a form, the chat, or the estimator; and (2) basic technical info collected automatically — like your IP address, browser, and which pages you visit, via standard analytics.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, book calls, deliver and improve our services, keep the site secure, and understand what's actually useful. Nothing creepier than that.
The chat agent & estimator
If you use our AI chat or pricing estimator, we log what you send so we can respond, improve the experience, and follow up if you've asked us to. Good rule of thumb: don't paste anything you wouldn't want a person at Startwise to read.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to measure traffic. You can block them in your browser and the site will still mostly work.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run — hosting, analytics, email, scheduling — and only what they need to do their job. We never sell your personal information to anyone. Ever.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we have, fix it, delete it, or stop using it — just email us. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK or California), you may have extra rights, and we'll honor them.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your data. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
Where your data lives
Startwise, Inc. is a US-based company and handles your data in the United States. If you reach out from somewhere else, you're okay with it being processed here.
Children
This site and our services aren't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
